THINK & DO NGO executive session with Dr. Thomas Bryer is a two-day intensive applied training aimed at NGO executives and senior managers. The training will last for 12 hours in total and is divided into four 3-hour long parts.  The training will be based on practical real case scenarios, hence the selected participants will be asked to present and discuss their own project examples.

The participants are required to attend all parts of the training.

DAY 1

9-10 hrs: Introduction: who is in the room?

10-13 hrs: Effective planning as a key to successful project-based work
- Theory session (30 mins);
– Interactive exercise (1,5 hrs);
– Feedback & reflections in a group (1 hrs).

13-14 hrs: Lunch

14-17 hrs: Managing multiple project streams and complex programmes
- Theory session (30 mins);
– Interactive exercise (1,5 hrs);
–  Feedback & reflections (1 hrs).

DAY 2

9 -10 hrs: Reflections from Day 1

10-13 hrs: Effective team management using leadership strengths
- Theory session (30 mins);
– Interactive exercise (1,5 hrs);
–  Feedback & reflections (1 hrs).

13-14 hrs: Lunch

14-17 hrs: Planning and developing new strategic areas of activities
- Theory session (30 mins);
– Interactive exercise (1,5 hrs);
–  Feedback & reflections (1 hrs).

17-18 hrs: Closing talks
